tired of my crappy idle

I heard that cleaning the egr valve and replacjng the pcv valve can gelp with idle problems and stuff. I know how to replace the pcv valve but im not sure about the egr valve i cant really find anything for my d16y8 on how to affectively remove and clean it. Any help on this will be awesome

you need to clean the iacv
iacv-idle air control valve it will more than likley fix your idle problem

150? I don't think it's possible for a car to idle at 150.... Or did you mean to say 1500? If it's under 750, you may need a new battery, alternator, tighten battery terminals, clean and reseat grounds, etc.. If it's too high, check your IACV like the post above says. Throttle cable and Alt/battery voltage can cause idle problems as well. .... And... You also have an idle adjustment screw to check and poke around for vacuum leaks... LOL

nope I meant 150, or it could be 200. Not exactly sure, sometimes it will sit right on that line above the 0rpm. Can the battery really be the cause for it? I thought low idle was because of the pcv valve? and also how do I clean the iacv?? do I just spray some carb cleaner into it?

One more thing, I noticed that when I took off my filter on my oem intake tube the car was warming up and I could have sworn I heard little poping sounds coming from intake, faint but still obvious as to what it was. Could I have detonation?
