Touch up Paint help..

hey, i just scraped agaisnt my freaking garage door like an idiot so now i have this huge gash along my front bumper and it scratched all the way to the black plastic . Can somebody tell me what I need? I know i need the paint, like 2000 grit sand paper, soapy water, clear coat, rubber compound...if theres anything else, please tell me. Also, i've never done a touch-up and i want it to look nice...got any tips? or some sorta tutorial? Thanks.

you should watch more tv, they have scratch removers for sale...hahhhaha. i'de say u go get it repainted dawg

sounds like you need a body shop.If you were to do it your self, u need your base color,base coat stabilizer,clear coat,clear coat hardner,clear coat reducer.The scratch needs to be feathered out,primed and painted.To do it right ,u spot in the repair and then clear the complete bumper.U can spot in the clear ,but, sooner or later it will start to show a ring or die back.If the plastic is gouged, that will need to be filled.bshop should cost approx 200-250 hope this helps
