i was wondering if it was possible to put the higher gears of a dx tranny into a ex tranny. the ex tranny is good from the line, but on the freeway it totally sucks. has anyone done this?? or is it even possible?

i know u can swap individual gears out usually... dont know cost or how hard it is to do. but a buddy of mine had a LS 1st,2nd gear, GSR 3rd, 4th gear, type r 5th gear... was freakin amazing... 
yeah, thats what im talking about, just with d series tranny parts 
should work as well.... but what are u goin for? better economy?performance?
