Alright so I've been reading around about what fluid to put in my transmission, I've had so many problems with transmissions recently that i want everything to go smooth this time around.

So what is best? Just regular 10w30 or 10w40? I've heard synchromesh works best. Also Royal Purple because of the higher zinc content. Has anyone heard of using half a quart of Lucas OIl treatment to help the fluid travel to the top of the gears? And then there's Honda MTF...

There's so many options but no definite answer I have found so any help is appreciated!!

This has been covered countless times. Honda MTF. It's all you need.

It's what the Honda recommends? I have gotten rid of grinds with plain ole Honda MTF. If Honda says to use it, use it.

Honda believes in their MTF enough to warranty a transmission using it. Good enough for me.
