i am having trouble removing the rear control arm on my 99 civic dx. i got the 2 bolts on the body removed but the bolt holding the arm to the actual hub area is stuck. it turns but it also turns the center part where the rubber part is. i cant figure out how to take it apart. any ideas. i tried holding the center part with some pliers but it just scraps it. do i have to do some cutting?

Put the other two bolts back in the body halfway and then loosen and remove the other bolt. It may help

i tried that. the bolt seems to have fused with the metal part of the bushing in which the bolt goes into and screws on to the other side. i just bought some bolt freeze off liquid and i am going to see if that works with some pounding of course.

I just ran into the same problem with my LCA bolts. Had to take a sawzall to both sides of the bushing and then gets some pliers and walk the threaded section of the bolt out after its been cut off.
