My trunk rattles with the trunk down, but when I pop the hood, it stops the rattling. It sounded similar to the hood rattle I used to have before I adjusted the rubber s**t where the hood meets the body of the car. . . anyways, I drove around with the trunk purposely open and notice the rattle was nonexistent. I put the trunk back down, and once I started driving, the trunk started f**king making a rattle noise. So long story short, how can I stop this and fix the problem???
OH YEAH. .. so you guys don't ask, it is not attributed to the audio system, 'cause yes I do have two amps, a bass cap and two subs. . . but this noise I'm talking about in particular occurs with or without the system on. I drive with the system off so I can hear the noise and try to find the location where the problem is at. It has nothing to do with the bass. It's a completely distinct rattle noise I am hearing. I drive with the system off now just so I could verify that it is in fact not a problem of the subs kicking.
