trunk rattle

So I just installed a sound system in my 08 civic. When the bass hits, the trunk rattles a lot. Will dynamat eliminate this problem? Or is there no way around that.

Nothing else rattles in the interior or exterior.

OK thanks, how about another alternative or something a bit cheaper? I just don't feel like i need 100 sq ft of dynamat if I'm just doing the trunk. Do they sell smaller amounts. I have never dealt with the stuff before so I'm not sure how it even works.

How much sq footage do you think I'll need for just the trunk? 15? I just really don't feel like spending $80+ to get rid of a little rattling and if I can find an alternative that would be great.

There are some alternatives that are decent, but just dont get any s**t thats made of asphalt.....thats what original dynamat was made of and wasnt that great. A door kit would be fine too as opposed to the trunk kit.

If you do the trunk...you will want to do the rest...it will take more than you think to do the trunk right...

for a reference, all i have for dynamat is 4 square feet and it covers the top of my trunk and i have no more rattle what so ever.... just thought id let you know..
