yeah, I hadn't either until I saw it on another forum site, they told me to check it out, it'll cost me the same as the Greddy kit with the Intercooler kit within $100-$200.

hmmmm... they're actually more expensive than prostreetonline.com, and they offer free shipping too. I'm stuck between getting Greddy and then the add on intercooler kit, or buying the TSI Extreme kit that includes the intercooler. Greddy with Intercooler, $2199, TSI with intercooler, $2099, thats shipped.

build your own based on whats included in those kits. you could get a shop to help. theyre gonna have to tune it anyway. itll be alot cheaper and youll get a more specific aplication.

yeah, that would be great, but it sucks around here, no one knows imports and we have no tuning shops around here, just shops for body kits and bolt on performance. I don't know where the hell to go, it sucks.

yeah, that would be great, thanks for all of your help. If it helps for finding my area, I know I'm going to have to go at least as far as Peoria most likely to find something, around an hour drive, Quad Cities is the same distance, Burlington, IA is 30 minutes, and Chicago is around 4 hours from here. I'm sure there is a place somewhere in the Quad Cities given all the imports but I don't know, they all look like ricemobiles that I have seen. There's a wicked fast boosted B16 6th gen Si in Galesburg, 15 minutes from me, but I've never found the guy to talk to him, and I haven't seen that car in forever. I never thought much of it when I first saw it, candy apple green with a buddy club kit and wing with altezzas, then I watched him blow the doors off of my friends Camaro Z28 6-speed

Same s**t here where I live. Lots of stupid little shops that sell bolt ons and underglow. They'll bring you in a turbo kit, but after that your on your own. That's why I decided to run uberdata. Hell if I have to tune my car myself, I might as well save money doing it. I have to drive 300k to the nearest dyno :(

yeah, i really hope someone on illinoisjdm.com knows a place, it would save me a lot of trouble if its only an hour drive.

the key to turbo is a good dyno tune. no matter how good you kit is make sure you get it tuned if you dont wanna blow youre motor

yeah, no kidding, I can't afford popping a motor. Maybe I should say screw boost for now and do a b series swap, thats getting really tempting.

its gonna be about the same cost, but a b series will give your more potential in the long run
check out prices www.osakajdmmotors.com the only bad thing ive heard bad about them is that the motors are dirty, but they all work and have low miles

the Type-R b16b would be nice, but since either way, sticking with the d, or going to a b, I want boost, the Type-R wouldn't be the best for boost due to its compression
