turbo an 01 ex civic?

Was wondering if its worth putting a turbo in my 01 civic ex coupe.
5 speed with a 1.7L SOHC VTEC-E 16-valve I4 engine.
I know the vtec-e is more for good mpg but I mainly just want the turbo sound with a little hp boost.
Not looking to go over 200hp honestly.

Are you willing to spend $3000-5000? If so, yes.
If you are not willing to spend it, then no.

IMO the engine you have (with the VTEC-E) will fight you the whole way. If your dedicated to installing a turbo one it, I would also recommend a head swap with a basic VTEC head. Note- the intake ports are super tiny in your 1.7...
