yesterday i went to the track to time my car. as soon as i hit 3rd gear it was good until it hit 5,000 RPM. my Turbo/RPM bogged like it doesnt let me get pass that..its like...going to 6,000 but bounce back up to 5,000. anyone know the problem with this? is it because its to much fuel going in and not enough spark to burn?

check to make sure you don't have any boost or vacuum leaks.

Yah maybe there is a boost cut on like FRODO said.. i know with my Hondata there is a boost cut you can have on, if the engine isn't warm enough it cuts boost at a designated psi.

ahh i found the problem...on the wastegate it have 2 vaccum hose i forgot that the other one (for boost control) have no vaccum like so i turn it around so no boost leak. i can rev up to 7000 on 3rd now. but i only tried it once maybe one more time to confrim it..it was a little lag around 6k but that might be normal for turbo lag? well see..ill let you guys know as soon as i test it again. thanks !!!!

If you got it up to 6 fine, the turbo should already be spooling pretty good...I would think :what:

i don't think that would be turbo lag a that rpm. the lag is the time it takes to spool up after you shift or take off. you need to have your tuner look at the map for you car it sounds like a lean or rich spot in the fuel map.

you can still have a small vacuum leak and still hit boost.

what injectors and fuel pump. check ALL of your vacuum hoses. just bc you hit full boost doesnt mean there isnt a leak.
