Turbo D17A2?

I need more power.. so I am thinking about going turbo... but I need to keep my car for a while.... what is the longest that my car would live if I were to go turbo... I know there are a lot of factors involved.... I do not know exactly how many pounds of boost i'm looking for... but if you guys could make some suggestions that would be awesome.... (and yes.. I know I need to learn more about it if I plan on going turbo... dont worry that... I will definitely learn everything I can before I actually turbo the civ)

Really? wow.. I heard someone once say that they never heard of a turbod car lasting more than 4 years... Hell, if it can last me forever i'm gonna get started researching!

Can anybody suggest a site where I can learn about Turbod D17s....? (What goes into maintenance, How to determine what kind of kit I want, Whatever else I need ot know..)

well, even tho u have an 03... this site still applies for alot of general knowledge.

its prodominantly (sp?) 6th gen site, but its based on boosting. i havent been around there much, but i hear great things about it. great site to get some general knowledge, even tho u have a slightly different engine.

a boosted car will run as long as you take good care of it...make sure you take it to a good shop to do it

ive only heard of one kit for the d16, i think its the SF or SP kit or something, ill look into it but its supposed to be pretty good...
