turbo exhaust

Alright quick question, I bought my turbo today, woooooooop!!! My major question is I want to keep somewhat of a quiet exhaust...I really like the Apexi WS2, BUTTTT, will I be able to use that muffler on a turbo application? Or will I lose alot of power....

just make sure it has at least 2.5" piping including the inlet and outlet of the muffler if you have an sohc or 3" piping including the inlet and outlet if the muffler if you have a dohc

You should get a custom exhaust setup. Vibrant muffler with a resonator 3" front to back (www.vibrantperformance.com). Even if you have a sohc I would definately go with 3" because there is no need for any back pressure after the turbo.

what kind of turbo kit did you get? specs please.

its a turbotronics, .50 trim I think. so its small....I wont be running high psi on it, most likly 9 - 10.

3inch cat, resonator, and a magnaflow,or vibrant muffler and your s**t will be quiet.
