turbo help on a 02 civic

im sooooo nooob to turbos i know how they work and what they do but i dont know how to control the boost i only wont to run about 5-7 pounds of boost for a daily the car is setup at least i think so ?? this is what i got...turbonetics turbo, tial waste gate, blox manual boost control, greddy type r-s bov, full 3in greddy exust from header back 4.5in greddy tip, greddy e-manage blue, apexi afc neo,but i dont think the neo is fully hooked up , when i get on the the gas i let off about 5psi i dont trust it ive only let it get to 10psi once and i dont want to blow the motor i bought the car off a car lot so im trying to educate my self some what this is my first honda i payed $5k, 84kmiles,2002 civic, h17a1, clean car i want it for the long haul any input will be alot of help

Not a turbo person but seeing you are from Cincy, is the car silver and did it have a body kit on it when you got it?

take off the boost control and see test to see what the spring rate is it..or just open up the tial wastegate and see what color and size the spring is, that'll tell you the psi rate that the wastegate is pushing out..you can probably leave the boost controller off since you dont want to run much and im sure the spring itself is in the neighborhood of where you want it, but do those two things to check it

There was a guy I used to work with that had a silver coupe with CF hood and trunk on it. Saw it on a used car lot on the east side of town not all that long ago.

I dont recall the carbon fiber, but then again this was like back in 2008-2009 or so.It was a money pit, I think rob ended up buying it super cheap and sold it
