boost controller? lines? then you need your downpipe made after you get your turbo.

depends on your other mods, tires, skill

Good luck hitting 14's. There was a 99 or 2000 SI at the track not too long ago with a T3/T4 hybrid only running low 15's, high 14's.

i forgot to add the downpipe in there, I have an intake and exhaust right now, i wanted to go for a swap but i thought that turbo would be a better bang for my buck.

my tires are ok but i need better ones, maybe some proxies, and i'd say i'm ok with drag, not the best but ok

I want to run about 5-7 pounds of boost with the car

you could also get a t25, the 14b is slightly, very very very slighty larger. with a t25 (which is what im going to be using) you can see a full 8psi at about...3000 rpms.

as far as exhaust piping, you should use 3 inch if you can, i have a 2.5 inch exhaust already...so im sticking with that. but go for 3 if you can.

2.25 is a good size, 2.5 might be a little big for charge pipes.

if you got the vafc hack, and have someone who is knowledgable tune it, you could see about 220hp...so about 175ish whp. thats good for 14's.

here is a site for basic tuning the vafc hack http://www.thedropshop.tv/vafc.htm

Please tell me you got all the necessary guages? If you don't, then you arn't near being done. You need a boost gauge, air/fuel mixture gauge(a good one not a cheapo), fuel pressure guage, and an ouil temperature gauge. You'll also need a breather(not a big deal cause they cost like 5 bucks.) Don't forget a boost controller.

t3 48/60 is the best size for a d
gives u the most power at the higher rpms and conserves ur 30mpg at cruising speeds
t25 will be boosting and wasting ur gas when u dont want it to and this is true with similar size turbos like the rhb5 and 14b

Depends on your manifold...What flange does it have on it?

FYI...My Si hit 13.9 on 6.5lbs of boost...running waaaayyyyyy rich on crappy tires...

14's shouldn't be very hard...SOHC's are pretty decent motors
