I'm going w/ the greddy kit, and i need to know where i'll get my oil supply for the turbo from, the reason i ask is because if i have to drill and tap my oil pan then i'm gonna get a 2nd one to do it, thanks in advance
will T'ing off the OPS take away from integrity from the unit? and where can i get the golden eagle sandwich adapters???handlebarsfsr said:you unbolt the oil pressure sensor, put a t fitting in there, put the oil pressure sensor on one of the ntp fittings, and the oil line on the other. or you get a golden eagle sandwich adapter and run a line from that.
no it wont that is how the kit is designed to be used. they give you instructions with the kit they arent that great but if you know just alittle bit they should get you by.j_fukin_t said:will T'ing off the OPS take away from integrity from the unit? and where can i get the golden eagle sandwich adapters???
no, it works fine. you have to be careful installing the t fitting though, or you'll strip out or crack the block. you can buy a sandwich adapter from any shop, online or otherwise, that carries golden eagle.j_fukin_t said:will T'ing off the OPS take away from integrity from the unit? and where can i get the golden eagle sandwich adapters???

yea sleep filled me in a lil bit, my buddy has a boosted gsr and i'm still yet to talk to him since he's been out of town for who knows how long, def a good idea though, i'm just gathering as much info as i can before i do it, thank you though, i def consider everything that everyone suggestshandlebarsfsr said:you do have to drill and tap the oil pan, thats for the drain line.... may i suggest actually going and looking at a real turbo car before you decide to go turbo, then you can see what actually goes into building a boosted car.
