i was wanting some tips on good ways to run the oil lines for my turbo kit because i dont have any yet...i have seen them 2 ways one way by taking out the oil pressure sending unit and getting a fitting that can run oil to the turbo and a fitting for the oil pressure sending unit and i have seen a thing that goes on where your oil filter does and has 2 things for the oil feed and and return. does anyone have much info on what works great or any tips would be helpful

ya use a oil filter sandwich adapter
make sure you get a restrictor(important) too if your gonna run AN lines for yur Feed & return lines
you only need a restrictor for the oil feed...
do not put one on the return line...the return line is supposed to have as much flow as possible..
a lot of ppl are running them...so i would assume so
I have the remote tee that goes from the sensor out 1 foot to a T then it goes to oil pressure gauge and feed line. works great. Just dont put the T directly on the block. Xenocron.com is where i got mine, they have good stuff!

where could i buy a sandwich adapter and after installed will it produce enough oil pressure for the turbo? also i hear you all talkin about a oil pressure restictor? is that pretty much in the size of the insert comin off the T fitting like in the picture below, by were it says oil feed line goes here? i know im lost but determined and need to figure it out. u never learn otherwise. please help.. thanx

you can buy them from ebay...and yes it will produce enough pressure for the turbo....actually to much pressure...thats why you need a restrictor... the restrictor piece goes on the turbo for the oil feed....its called a function7 piece....but you have to make sure you get the one that fits your turbo...so it really depends on what turbo you get if you can use the function7 piece or not....anyways heres some links...

k thanx bro i found what i needed last night but thanx anyways for the help.. where should i run the oil return line to? i had someone say tap into the oil pan but that sounded like a rig for sure and im not fond of tapping into an aluminum $200 moroso oil pan. anyways its a garret t3/t4 turbo with ram horn header and 3" down pipe if that makes a difference. if you can give me some advice it would be great. thanx for ur time Eric
haha ya funny bud unlike some im not a dumb ass. id rather ask questions before f-in ish up. i was into NA motors for awhile. im getting close to 400hp out of my spoon stroker all motor 00 civic. im sorry if i didn't have to resort to buying a turbo to get my car to move. mr 250hp ha what a joke get a life.
you will have to tap the pan and use an aluminum fitting.. -10AN would be the recommended size. you need to send the oil back to the oil pan and that is the way my friend..
yep, you do have to tap into the oil pan for the return line....
about a 1" from the top....make sure its not to low....otherwise it will be messed up...
