hey i was wondering, is there a better system for oil'n your turbo, like instead of drilling the block, for your lines, having like an oil filter relocation system with different plumbing, that could lead to the turbo, would it not ive better oil distribution? Got my b18c1 enroute to my house today, should receive it in a week or 2, then im getting a brand spankin spiffy new turbo:P i hope to reach 400hp by summer

golden eagle makes an "oil sandwich plate" that goes on b4 your oil filter. i have one and it feeds the oil to my head (B20vtec) and there is a seprate line that comes out of the plate that i use to feed the oil to my turbo. i'm sure u could plug the one of them and it would work fine . . . but iono if thats what u are looking for . . . just a suggestion

ALl synthetics are basically the smae...Thier boiling points and freezing points are whats different. Thas what makes AMSoil stand out so much.

Personally changing oil every 7500 miles is bad. Because teh contaminets (sp?) stay in your system and build up. Where as every 3000 miles you are ridding your system of 90%+ of those contaminents.

you dont drill the block for a oi feed
you can waste money on the sandwhich plate which is nice becuase if sends filtered oil into the turbo

but you can simply get some fittings and tap it off the oil pressure sender spot (on ac1 its next to your oil filter on the drivers side

you take out the oil sender puta t in and you are good to go

I thought that was weird, drilling your block? You just have to tap a line into the oil pan...

mine was under $100 but that doesn't include the price of the steel braided lines. i cant remember how much those were. it serves 2 purposes on my motor so i figured y not. but ya if u want to save some cash just do it the way evan suggested. there should be more detailed info on sites like honda-tech

the line to the oil pan is the oil return, not the oil feed

i think the easyest and cheapest way is to make a Bung in your oil pan.. i think thats what its called.. i did that to my old car worked great.. heres some links just so u get an idea of how it works.. when do you plan of doing the turbo? my brothers cars gettin done sometime this month of next month.. if your still having a problem ill take pictures and post em.. one other thing a GSR isnt good for turbo most psi you can run is like 5-8 to be safe.. my brothers doing a b16 turbo and its not gunna handle alot of boost but he dont listen to me.. he has an LS motor just sittin and he wont turbo it.. right now his motors being built up but if he woulda went with the LS he woulda never hada build his block to handle the 10+ psi he wants to run... just my opinion

The oil feed plate is one of teh best ways to feed oil to teh turbo. Since oil that is picked up from teh pan is sent to the filter FIRST then the contaminets are trapped in the filter. Instead of the contaminets going striaght to the turbo and detroying the shaft, slowly but surely.

The setup ive always wanted to run would be a dual recolated filter kit(for extra capacity more than extra filtration) running clean oil to an oil to a cooler, then to the turbo, then to another cooler, then back into the oil pan. As for drilling the block? Dunno what you mean.

you would really put a number on the path the oil has to travel....
you dont drill the block next person to say this ima e slap

stop talking about tappin gthe f**king oil pan, thats oil return.. we are talking oil feed to make it easy just waste more money and get the sandwhich plate and do it that way
tapping off the already existing hole next to the oil filter is simple
i ran my oil feed there and i run the feed for my oil pressure guage on the hatch from there

if you dont understnad how turbos and this s**t works please do not post and confuse the guy even more.
