turbo oil pan, please help

is there any brand that makes a already tapped oil pan for a d16y8? if so please point me in there direction i need help with this fast and i dont wanna tap my stock one cause i know it will leak. thank you:!:

It actually isn't too hard tapping an oil pan. We tapped my friends pan ourselves when we supercharged his V8 Dakota. You just have to use a step drill and use plenty of lube to get all of the shavings out (we did it while the pan was still on the block, in the truck). And a good amount of Teflon tape, lol.

But yes, Moroso makes already tapped pans, though they can be quite pricey. I was lucky enough to find an oil pan locally that was already tapped, and was welded.. very nicely. You can also look for something like that.

yeah i check moroso an i only found it for a b series not the d

and yeah i guess i could just take the time to do it right or weld it but id rather just spend the money to get something good lol

Find one welded, or get a spare pan and a fitting and have one welded. Will certainly be cheaper.
