browser is going slow Atm so figure quicker to just ask here..

What kind of oil is best to use while turbo charged?? 8 -10 psi..

i have a swaped D15b with 30-50k miles, and generally i run Valvoline synthetic blend..

seeing as im putting a turbo kit on and need to drain oil to weld on the return line

should i add

Regular oil

Or Synthetic Blend

Full Synthetic

(if it matters i do Not have a turbo timer but willing to sit 2-3 minutes afterwards to prevent coking)

Just switched to Synthetic myself. I've heard a lot of people use a Synthetic blend a well, but at that point might as well just go fully synthetic anyways.

I also do not have a turbo timer... it is on my list. lol

Conventional oil.
Reason being:
I recommend changing the oil frequently for turbo and supercharged cars due to the amount of heat that the engine sees in operating conditions. The oil breaks down, and needs to be changed. Synthetic oil gives you a bit longer oil life before it breaks down, but can cause excessive oil consumption with certain valve stem seals, as well as get passed the rings on a loose built turbo engine. I have always used conventional oil on all my engine builds, an on tear down the bearings, crank, cams, journals, etc look perfect.
