Oh s**t, you're from Michigan what part? Yeah it's safe but you have to get it tuned well. I have a turbo d16z6 with stock internals :D tuned with a apexi safc2 but I think I'll be switching over to uberdata soon

It is safe up to about 220whp. Just get it tuned, or run 5psi with a fmu.
fmu = bad get some real engine managment. There are alot better options that an FMU for cheaper on a honda

yep. run a greddy or edelbrock kit and u should be straight, unless u want to custom build your own kit which will prolly save u some money but will require u to do more work though

Yea fmu is bad, but it is simple. I wouldn't run it but a lot of people do as long as they don't push it too hard.

I don't know if I'm going to build up my single cam or not. I just know that if I convert over to obd1 that I can get more horse out of it as is

Just for a little conformation on done stock d16s. A local friend rick ran a high 13 and shaun ran a 14 flat on a bone stock d15 So the motors are just fine to boost and run hard.

IMO, go with the Greddy kit ---- its a complete bolt on CARB approved kit ---- with emanage --- You dont *have* to have ems --- you can ADD it later... You can also add an intercooler, bov, timer and controller to it for more boost/power.

Ill do better then the price linked to above. Hit me up, call me or PM me -- we can chat....

No, Greddy does not come with BOV, timer or intercooler. I can get you a greddy timer, a greddy BOV and a greddy intercooler for that kit for another $1100... making the total about ~$2800.

The kit ( http://www.corsportusa.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=53&products_id=581 ) comes with emanage, a cast intake manifold, the piping, the turbo, the intake filter and all hose and clamps.

Expect to pay closer to 3K for a "full" setup on ANY car.

Hope that helps

The edelbrock kit does have a bov and an intercooler, the pricing would be about $3200 for that kit and would NOT include a timer.
