i really think it's not not a matter of which one is better, but more of what do you expect to get outta the kit you want, you gotta pick the one that suits your needs.

i wouldnt recommend a drag kit. i dont know about rev hard. but the drag kits are appealing based on peak numbers. but the hp and tq curve suck, the manifold sucks, the choice of turbo sucks. you are gonna see power very very late with a drag kit.

you can find drag kits on ebay, or online sites for a fairly affordable price. But you can't go wrong with Rev Hard kits

I thought about Vortech Supercharging a B16 cause I hear good numbers with Vortech Superchargers on b16 motors, but Vortech is kinda pricey, and I dunno if you have the money to afford the kit, but if you do then buy it, and get it dyno'd and post the numbers up, but I wanna know if anyone has a Vortech Supercharged b18c.

Its better to build ur own if u research it and kno what u want, itll cost a LOT less to and ur kno ur car a lot better when ur done.

The best custom kits usually still have some full-race parts in them especially the manifold.

do NOT go vortech, do a search on why centrifugal superchargers suck, youll change your mind. full-race makes AWESOME stuff, friend has it on his gsr powered del sol (still needs tuning, then itll be done...mostly) anywho, dont go drag, dont go full race unless you have the cash and goal for something as hardcore as full race. i suggest going to www.import-parts.com and building your own..

how reliable are the drag and rev hard kits, or custom kits similar? do they wear the engine out really fast compared to other kits?

If this is your daily driver I highly recommend the Greddy kit, good stuff no matter what anyone says this kit is great for someone who does not know a lot about tuning cars and drives thier boosted car everyday.

custom kits are as reliable as you make them. all turbos will wear the engine out faster, just like nitrous, just like sc's, just like any sort of addition of hp
