what? you means to turbo you SOHC all stock without to tune a engine management system? i think that if your runing thus, is not safe.. at least you need a SAFC for tune your air/fuel .. i think so.

I would not drive it untuned at all. Untuned + boost = detonation

got traction

i rock the sohc

Major wrong information in this topic! If you don't run alot of boost till you're tuned, you'll be fine. Like 4 or 5 psi.
no 5 psi untuned will kill your engine. It will create a lean condition. the stock honda ECU can only compensate fro about 1psi of positive pressure(honda defines it as ram air) after that your causing damage. If he has enough control to stay out of boost he will be fine, but who has that much control?

how much $$ do you have left for engine managment??

youll have to be very very careful. despite what anyone tells you, the more air you force into your car the more fuel youll need to keep it from detonating. even if youre running 3psi, you still need more fuel PERIOD! i strongly recommend you dont try driving you car without tuning it after you install a turbo.

If you have to limp it over to the tuner, try to keep the rpms low to stay out of boost. This can be hard if your running small turbo that spools fast.
