I need some advice. i have done some research and all and i want 13s with my stock motor and i have a motor on the side i and building. both are y8's. i want 12s with build motor. i first wanted the t3/t4oe 50trim .48 but in the back of my head i am still fightin with the gt28r. the gt28rs is alittle out of my budget, but who knows. Cuz ppl say the t3/t4 spools at 4krpm and some others say it spools 4700-5krpm. when does the it spool in your words and when does the gt28r spool and hp. thanks bro i appreciate it. i know i need lsd, slicks, etc ya know. ever since these last couple of problems if u have seen some of my threads has my mind alittle clouded right now. :???:

the variation in spool time is because there are over 100 different combinations of t3/t4 turbos.

you will never hit 13s on a stock y8. ever. period. Maybe turbod or juiced, but never stock.

For 12's, you are going to need:

block/sleeve reinforcement (studs, sleeves, fill, guard,... your choice really)
pistons/rods/bearings
valve train / camshaft / cam (not necessary, but is considered the best bang for the buck)
LSD
Slicks
Axles
Suspension/Traction Bar/Camber Kit

There are a ton of turbo options out there besides the t3/t4. MHI makes a lot of GOOD turbos... the 14b would get you close to 300whp.. which will be enough to hit 12's. IHI also has a couple larger turbos.KKK k24 would be perfect for 450whp.

theres a member beerbongkicksass on honda-tech runs 12.6 on a bone stock D16Z6 turbo. makes 215 whp on a t3 60 trim turbo with slicks. good tuning. some injectors is all he needed. plus lsd and some other lil nick nacks.

no sleeve is needed. pistons and rods recommended. no cams are needed.

sorry. i meant to say 13s on turbo motor with stock internals. sorry for the confusion there. i have heard some about the 14b. i will look into that. the t3/t4 turbo i have my eyes on is the garrett t3/t4oe 50trim .48.

60-1 would lag pretty bad. i think you mean t3 super 60 itll make 280 WHP which is just enbout enuf to pilot your car into the 12's depending on your driving.

I think that is totaly posible, but how long do you want to run 12.6's for a few months or a few years. If you want a reliable set up then dont skimp on your bottom end.
