alright guys im callin for some help about puttin together a really good turbo set up. now it will not be for a while till i do this cause im buyin a diff car to put this on. but like i said something really good not junk yard parts. i plan on usin probly a gt30r turbo if it will fit in. so if you guys could help me come up with a good list of parts to use it would be greatly appreciated. i have searched before and found nothing so that is why im asking.

what do you plan on putting a gt30 on? a civic? that's a little overkill, bro
ya im plannin on gettin a 99 si hopefully soon. but i dont think it is over kill. rated for 500 hp. weather or not i get that high is another story but want it there so i dont max it out then have to build again.89slohatch said:

oh, and an answer to your question. You need to know what you want your final result to be. Being with the end in mind. You shouldn't get a turbo because its rated for 500 whp, and then say, well, I hope I get to that much.

you need to present us with more information. how much your willing to spend. hp goals you ACTUALLY plan on obtaining. what the car is going to be used for.

you been up for two days? drugs are bad mmmkaythanks for the responses. i was plannin on gettin it but i found out some new info on my car so im keepin it now. probly just gonna do a turbo d. and if any are wonderin the info. i was takin with my performance and drivability teacher on tues. well he talked to one of the head hancho's of emission testing and he said that as of 2006 there is no more emission for 95 and older cars. so that is my reason. but ill probly just check out turbod16.com on that stuff.

^^^what puttin it together. that is a long time. doesnt it say 8-12 hours on most sites. but i guess if you are taking your time to do it right. but i will look into both. it will be a little need to save some more money. but it will come.
Don't do a turbo D, they suck ass. I would never disrespect my car by putting a turbo D in it
