Turbo timer

I was wondering how long to leave my car running before I shut it off? I don't have a turbo timer yet but I'm getting one very soon. So in the meantime I have to use my ghetto timer. So how long do I leave it running before I shut it off? Do I have to let it run before I shut it off every time I drive it? Does the fan have to run for a while before I shut it off? Why the hell do I have to let it run before I shut it off anyway? Well If any of you can help me out here I'd appreciate it, thanks.

just get a Blitz or HKS auto turbo timer...they'll keep the car on depending on how hard you have driven it...you need to save your turbo from cooking it self!

I know I need a turbo timer but I have alot of s**t to pay off so in the mean time I just need to know how long to leave it running. From what you said it depends on how hard I drive it.

There not that expesive..ebay..like 80 bucks..same from Honda Tech sponsor's..usuallly yeah...leave it idle for say 3-5 mins..
