Turbo Uninstall/Swap

So heres the story....
my friend has a High milageboosted D16y8 he wants to sell
i want to buy his turbo kit...

so i know his turbo kit will work on my d15b my car is OBD 1 and turbo ready...
my question is....

Since his has the turbo all that that stuff..
what modifications would i need...other than install and welding turbo down pipe ??


i would be getting all of piping,Intercool, Turbo downpipe, exhaust,and his Chipped & tuned ECU...
i am not familar with the Turbo drain line or any of the lines that are added/needed with the turbo...
can anyone explain if its plug in play or does require modification to a non-turbo'd car...(lines going into manifold/turbo/oil drain pan)

You'll need to tap your oil pan for the turbo return line, or get an aftermarket oil pan. Is he keeping his injectors(did he even have aftermarket ones?), if yes what kind are they?

You'll need to get it tuned...

is it easily to tap the oil pan??? would i be able to swap my oil pan for his ?? he has stock Fuel injectors with no FMU .. which i would be doing the same thing until i upgraded...

for the lines that run to the intake manifold... any modification required there ??

How much boost was he runnig on stock injectors?
Do you plan on upgrading your fuel pump?

at one point he was on 8psi... he ended up doing some burn outs and blowing a transmission... he swapped the transmission... and now when the boost kicks in its like 4-5 psi?? Doesnt kick as hard..

if im required to i would... he is dyno tuned But if i get his set up i would get mine chip'd and street tuned

I would upgrade both injectors and fuel pump if it where mine.
