Okay, I have an '00 Si with 61K on the tranny and body and 45K on the motor. My current power mods are:

Walboro 255lph fuel pump
AEM pressure reg.
Apexi WS exhaust
Jackson racing cat
DC sports 4-2-1 header (remove with turbo install)
AEM SRI (remove with turbo install)

New stuff:
Greddy Turbo kit
Greddy intercooler kit
Skunk2 IM
AEM fuel rail
ACT Street lite flywheel
SS clutch line
Greddy turbo timer
Greddy profec B Spec II boost controller
Greddy type S BOV

What clutch should I get? I'm hoping to build my motor next summer or the following after and I cant afford an exedy twin plate clutch so lets keep the clutch cost below $500. My ideas have been an extreme pressure plate 6 puck ACT or a stage 2 three puck Exedy. I had a full face organic ACT clutch in my mazda and really liked it. I'm a biker, runner, hockey player, etc so I dont mind a heavy clutch (I used to squat over 500lbs before I hurt my back, now I do over 700 on the hip sled). These are just my idea, I dont know how much they will hold, ride quality or anything. I plan on dragging it at the track maybe 2 times a summer and autocrossing once a month or so.

Thanks everyone!

I have a 6 puck sprung Clutch Specialties clutch and it grabs great. Plus the price was good, $310 shipped.

the ACT 6 puck is not a sprung kit, should I be looking for something that is sprung like the Exedy stage 2 3 puck clutch?

From what I just read about the exedy stage 2 I think I'm leaning towards that. I'd do the thick stage 2...

more input would be helpful

How do you get the prices on that site, do you have to call? I'll be buying my clutch next week :D

Right now my choice is a ACT street disk with a sprung hub
Go up to clutch kits and go from there, after you select your car they have prices listed

How much power are you putting down? How long have you had it (milage)? Any show of slipage, or wear? What flywheel are you using?

Thanks

i puttin down 260whp on the mustang dyno so about 300 on a dynojet. that was before i built my block so now im gonna go for 300whp. it prolly has about 1000 miles or so, but i know about 10 people who also run this clutch and other exedy clutches and love them as well. my friend who owned a shop was a distributor for them. no slipping, still grabs nicely, smooth engaement and pedal feel. im running a stock flywheel that i had balanced
