yeah i drive alottt so i was only gunna run loooowww boost cause i dont wanna blow er up!not at all! Infact, throw a h22 head on there... The h23 has the strongest block out of the H series.
yes do some research and build your own kit...it will come out a lot cheaper in the end...so i could buy all the peices i need, that would be the better chioce?
i only want around 250-300hp tops when im all done.
yeah, i just finished it today,If you only want 300whp you are wasting you money with the H22 head. Your engine can't handle the 7,800rpm - 8,200rpm that the vtec head needs. No matter if you have a built h23 you will spin your rod bearings past 7,500rpm. What good is vtec for 1,500rpm? Port the h23 head and off you are. You will make tons of torque. I know, from experience. Another thing is... you don't have oil squirters (sp?) and you need them badly. You can put them in but then you have to bend and machine the block. Personally, I'd stick true to the h23 non vtec and turbo.
what do you think the highest safest DD boost amount would be, on stock to minorrr internal work?yes do some research and build your own kit...it will come out a lot cheaper in the end...
well i would just run the max you can on a stock map sensor.....which is around 10-12psi ....what do you think the highest safest DD boost amount would be, on stock to minorrr internal work?
