turboing the d16z6

purchased a turbo kit for my 92 civic hatch w/ d16z6. the kit comes with..

T3/T4 Turbo Charger
3" 5 Bolt Downpipe
D-series Steel RAM Horn Manifold
27" Aluminum Bar and Plate Turbo Intercooler
Bolt on Intercooler Aluminium Piping Kit with Silicon Hoses and 2.5" T-clamps
2.5" Turbo Blow Off Valve BOV Flange Adapter Pipe
Turbo Blow off Valve
Turbo Boost Controller
Turbo Timer
Oil Catch Tank
38mm External Turbo Wastegate..

It says it's a CLOSE to complete kit, now.. I know im going to have to get my oil pan welded up with a return line and have to get another ecu, but what kind of ecu should i use? and what else will i need? any redflags jumping out at you.. Thanks for the input.

you need a chipped p28 or or any chipped vtec ecu really and a tune

Sounds like the only low budget turbo build are ecu tunning and fuel. And probably to add, a healthy engine. Thats the route im going with my low boost/budget build (when it starts) lol.

you smelled right, ebaying it lol. basically got it for all the parts to hook it up, going to upgrade the turbo to a non-ebay one later down the road. here's the link to the one i bought..

it didnt come with everything. but my main questions are..
1. can i use my d16z6 ecu and have it modified (or purchase something & d.i.y.) or do i need a whole new ecu?
2. would i be able to run the kit with my stock fuel rail and injectors?
3. is there any redflags jumping at you.. any inputs appriciated. thanks.

Well yeah, the red flag being you're paying less for "new" stuff than I did for a used GReddy kit lol

Here's a couple more red flags:

Note 1: This is a close to complete turbo kit, additional items will require when install.

Note 3: Additional Welding and Modification require for the best result.

as far as tuning goes, for boost a s200 (which I have one for sale 8) ) or a s300 in a p28 would be best

someone has a map burned for a z6 with that size turbo, ask xenocron or phearable I bet they have a map or two thats really close

either of those places can socket your ecu for like 80 bucks so it can be chipped
