Turbos with manifold?

I have a few questions,

1. I own a full race turbo kit for my B16 i do not want to run the t3/t67 i was looking to make 300whp for now.
I was leaning to the Garrett GT28R But this turbo has a Internal waste gate, And my manifold is for a external waste gate What turbo would you recomend to have a fast spool and make 350ish Whp with an external Waste gate.

2. Besides Engine Management, Injectors, Fuel pump, what is needed to correctly make 300whp? Thank you.

well the gt28rs usually maxes out at 300-350. i have one tho and love it. spools at 2500 and makes around 315whp. i took the wastegate off, used an adapter plate and using a tial 44mm wg.

Thanks for responce so u just bought the gt28r and removed the internal waste gate how can this be done how much work was it?

why dont you get the gt28r and block off the external wastegate flange for the time being?

wow didnt even think of that, Where can i find adapter plates?

i have a gt28rs. i bought an adapter plate that goes onto the hot side. it bolts right onto the 5bolt exhaust housing. my friend took off the wastegate, but i think its either just bolted on or you might have to take the compressor and turbine sides apart?

umm correct me if im wrong a gt28r wont bolt up to the t3 full-race manifold u have.

just get an adapter plate made for the turbo flange also.
