Turn signal problem

Whenever I hit the brakes with either turn signal on, the signal just stays lit. Also, the signals in the dash come on and stay lit, even with the car off and everything off the these signals come on along with the noise as if ive left my headlights on when i hit the brake. Could this be caused by the flasher relay or is it more of a grounding problem? Where is the flasher relay ground wire located? Any help would be much appreciated. Its a 99 civic si.

Really? they are brand new OEM lights (housing, bulbs, harness) from an online Honda shop. i bought them to replace the all clear housing i had which i kept getting pulled over for. Could the wrong bulbs really cause this?

edit- the link you provided seems to be broken.

Thanks for the replies Ron, cant tell you how much having messed up lights has been a pain in my ass. The bulbs match with the link you listed but where is the ground wire in the trunk?

edit- posted this before i saw the pic.

Should be visible inside the trunk. Look up in the area below the third brake light. The ground wire attached to it is black. Maybe dropping the back seats down would help.
