Turn signals do not work when applying brakes after Civic was stolen and stripped

Hi there!

Recently my Honda civic 2000 EX was Stolen and stripped. Theft took lights hood bumper fender etc. We put all back aftermarket and junkyard parts. Here is my issue Some time left/right turn light works sometime middle of road it stops working. when I apply brakes i see dim green lights where turnlight left and right on odometer thingy, at this time left signal or right signal wont blink?

I read on this forum abt Ground could any1 tell me where is the ground wire in honda civic 2000 ex? if you guys have pic please post it. I check bulbs fuse everything is good.

What makes you confident that the bulbs are correct? What did you see that confirms your belief? Or are you just assuming they are correct?

Do you have a 2000 EX coupe or sedan?

The ground wire connection that you are looking for is called G601. It's location in the coupe and sedan is shown in the diagrams below:

its 7440 and 7443 bulbs in my car. do you have pic or diagram wht bulb goes where?

how to access G601 ( ground) Ron ? I couldn't find it.

how can I access G601 wire? do you also have pic for tail lights bulbs socket etc.

is there any other ground in Front? or for Brakes ? if u have diagram for Front Side please post it.

Did you check whether your right and left brake light bulbs are correct?

G601 is the only ground common to both the brake lights and turn signal lights. Download the 96-00 Civic manual at the link in my signature. It has comprehensive circuit information.

Thank for all you help Ron. We took to car mechanic and figured out tht socket was for LX model not for EX, so that guy changed some cable in socket to make it work.
