Keep in mind that this is totally illegal, and will get you fined if you are found out.

note to self: don't buy car from this gentleman...

yeah, my buddy bought an 91 civic completely kitted out and it was this ugly pinkish colour... one of the ugliest civics ive ever seen and he bought it for 13 gs because it had a b16... it was a complete waste of money.

a month later his "120000 km" civic broke down and it turned out that the previous owner had turned back the odometer and he got to keep the car AND get allll his money back... .lucky SOB

it's only illegal if you don't record it. or if you try selling it and not telling the that you turned it back. other than that it's not illegal

damn dude no offense but your homey is an idiot for buying a 91 civic w/ a b16 for 13gs man. with 13gs he could have a 92 civic with a b18c/h22 and a turbo kit, 13gs, that's a 13 sec or lower 1/4 mile car man.

good lord youre joking right? you roll back the odometer to where you want it. You can go to zero, 420,000 miles if thats your thing.. get it?

I posted the pic on how to do it so it should be really self explanatory

well my question was based more on legality and the fact that my registration for emissions may be say at 100000 and then suddenly it is 40000. I was wondering if its legal.

Hmm i dont see it would be a problem, but then again laws dont always make sense. So Id suggest you dont do it until you hit up your local DMV
