Yes. If you plan to hit boost and make some power.

Running higher octane reduces the chances of detonation and you'll get more power out of it. It also depends on what octane your car gets tuned on too. (mapping). You can tune on low octane but, you'll waste alot of fuel.

Were stuck with 92, 93 would be nice. Try to stick with one type of gas (Chevron, 76, etc). I even go to the same pump every time.

That's not really such a good idea sticking to one type of gas and pump, much higher chances you can get a bad tank and clog the s**t out of your fuel lines it's better to go to a different station each time of name brand gas like you said, I'm sure others will agree.

I know which tanks are the newest, thats why I stick to the same ones/same places (besides race gas). I have been picky about my gas for about 9 years of having it turbocharged, just a normal routine I guess.

we have 100 octane over here for like $5 or $6 a gallon... other than that the highest we have is 91...

is it bad to mix octanes? like say 3 gallons of 100 octane and 8-9 gallons of 91 octane to get ~ 93octane in the tank...
