Tyring to fit 95 civic coupe window switch from Japan to American version

Hello everyone. My master power window switch from my 95 Civic coupe stopped working. I ordered a replacement off ebay. It was removed from a Japanese model in which the driver is on the right hand side. I foolishly thought this wouldn't make a difference.
I plugged it in. Not only did it not work, it blew out the power window fuse. I pulled it out to find that the plug pins are actually laid the opposite way. Here is the pic

It fits the wire harness in my car but obviously there is no wire to connect to the pin in one of the slots. Here is a pic of the harness from my car, and the one that came with the Japanese part.

So, is it possible to still to make this part work for my car? Any advice is appreciated.

My dad had an interesting idea. He says that we can try to plug the new(Japanese) switch into the wiring harness that came with it(Japanese), then take the lose ends of the wires and "plug" them into wiring harness attached to my car. I guess just use the Japanese harness as a converting adapter. It's kind of a long shot if even that, but could this hypothetically work?
