So I'm in the market for a new vehicle and I can't really decide what I want. My budget at this moment is $15k, but pending a new job the budget would be about $25k. Wont know if I get the job until about 2 weeks from now, and the second position I won't know I will get it until about 3 months from now.

I would like:
4 doors
6 cylinder or more
NO Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Chrysler, Hyundai or anything similar
Not looking for anything that is already modded
No convertible or 2 seater cars
Large trunk space is a plus, as long as I can fit a set of golf clubs and my turnout gear in it
Prefer a more grownup car that I can still have fun in.

Vehicles that come to mind:
CTS-V
G35
FX35
M5
IS 250
C32 AMG
Acura TL/RL

Anything else that I should be looking at?

thats a chevy, and a piece of s**t, just saying, i hope u have a balling pay check for a g35, fx35, m5 , is250 and c32 amg, i think you should price the normal tune ups on your "grown up" car, they have a "grown up" price. better have a deep pocket man.

none of the cars you mentioned are in your budget unless you buy them used

I was gonna say... Have you considered maintenance and part prices on 1/2 of those cars? It's not going to be cheap. Just because you can spend $25,000 on a car doesn't mean you can keep up with the maintenance. My brother had more than enough money to buy a brand new RX-8 but he simply was spending way more than he wanted on even just gas and general maintenance so he got rid of it.

I'd say Accord V6, TSX, Mazda6 V6, the new Jetta's actually aren't bad, same with the new Impala's (even though you said no Chevy's), hell I even like the Camry with the whole sporty package.

If you want more of a tuner car, used Evo's and WRX/STi's can be had for under 20,000 and it doesn't take much to get decent power out of them (granted the parts aren't too cheap).

With this potential job, I think I will be fine with maintenance on the vehicle.

Your 21, Id be smart and save some money and just spend 15k.

What about an STI? Every friend I have that has an Infiniti has had trouble, they are enthusiasts and have attempted working on their own cars, only to find that Inifiniti has made it nearly impossible to work on your own car lol. What do you drive currently? From that list above Id choose the IS250 but if I had the choice Id opt for the IS350. GL sir
