Anyone in uk done a engine swap?

If so where did you get it done and would you recommend them.

Also, did you tell your insurance company, or tell the DVLA and update the V5 logbook???

What do you do when insurance inspector comes to look at your car and finds a 1.8ltr DOHC from an ITR, instead of a 1.6 SOHC non vtec?????

tell them thats the way it was when you got the car. dont know of any good place to get it done - id just do it myself, but can i ask where u got the motot from? im having problems finding motors in egland. but im also new to this country.

im still in the research stage. Im more worried about the DVLA/Insurance than finding a motor. I heard of a company in south wales that specialise in honda's, and when my brother in law phoned them they had 3 ITR engines in there workshop ready to fit. All were around 40k on the clock. I can't remember what the company was called tho. Next time i speak to him ill find out.
