Due to a lack of UK specifications on the web, I decided to try and piece together a list of the UK Civics specifications. I have also tried to list the USDM equivalent of the UK models so that we in the UK know what you’re talking about!!

If anyone can fill in the blanks on here, or correct any mistakes (I’m sure there is one or two) then please let me know. This is by no means a definitive list.

If you have a UK civic not on the list let me know so I can add it.

well that top speed for 5th gen EG6 VTI is wrong mines stock and ive had her to 147mph on the GPS !!!!!!

and the 6th Gen 3dr VTi is wrong too. 113mph

think its more like 135 or something. I've got the original sale broucher for when they first brought the 6th gen out over here. I'll dig it out and post the specs it got in there.

I meant my thread. For engine codes. It used to be a sticky, but they changed everything and put all the stickies in one thread for awhile. Now there are stickies, and there is the one thread with lots of stickies. Doesn't make sense to me.

I believe some of the 6th gen civic's had limiters, anything from Japan is limited to 112mph... well funny watching ma mate get him import scooby on the motorway & he couldn't do more than 112! LOL

My friend had a classic subaru legacy turbo with an STi RA impreza engine. And becuas eof the stupidly short ratio box its maximum speed was 112mph in fifth!! Admittadly it got there pretty damn quick but nothing like racing him, him shooting off then overtaking him at 125Mph when id caught up

Is the 112mph thing like a gentlemans agreement between manufacutres or is it some crazy japanese law?

I think its an agreement with the manufactures to make them all limited to 112pmh, Another one of my mates imported a FTO same thing

Skylines, EVOS, IMprezas and everything come with the speedometer unp to 180km/h only.
