UK EJ6 Build..

i recently bought a ej6 after breaking my B20 EG for parts, this was my EG;

..so i picked up this EJ6 from a lady who owned it for the previous 7 years, with 12 months mot and 6 months tax, loads of history, i got a good deal :-p

picked it up like this;

then i bought a suspension kit from and lowered it;

picked up a type r grill and lip along with import plates and 16" wheels

test fitted the wheels but the car at the front is too low :mad:

so whipped them off and should be raising the front and putting the wheels on sunday

plans are;

colour code
fit grill
vti lip
smooth bumper
de-spoiler
some sort of exhaust
usdm rear light conversion

lifted the front up abit, fitted alloys and colourcoded the side skirts

anyway bought a 4-2-1 manifold

i also bought McGuard locking nuts for the wheels as it had really cheap ones on before, but hit a problem when it broke off, after trying for ages, i took it to my local tyre place who took around 30mins on it as i didnt want them to damage the rim, who got it off. Pics below;

with that out they way they fitted my exhaust

DC Sports, sounds nice and quite, just how i wanted it

will be going in the bodyshop for full colour-coding, spray and fit front lip and grill

also, USDM style rear light conversion;

picked up these

picked up a D16Y8 and cleaned it down

started off dirty and oily

drill and wire piece, on the left you can see how dirty it was

all done with drill

just need to spray it up with some silver engine spray

s**t! beautiful! it was nice to begin w! i wish you would have kept the spoiler for once, i thought it looked nice. And when you say USDM tailight conversion. Your UKDM looked just the same as ours.
