unfinished installation (2000 si)

check this , i did my installation at this shop, for some reason they been closed for a month already, i found out they moved, and im stuck with a L shaped metal piece for my aem v2 intake, the guy that did part of the installation says it doesnt matter if u dont put it on..........so iono, tell me what u think it is and what i can do....thanks holla back

is it a small piece, its probly the part that holds the intake to the body of the car

^ thats what i was thinking, its probably the brace that attaches by the wheel well.

since its metal, it can be welded on. go to any muffler shop. they will do it for very cheap. it might be a good idea to have it. if not, the intake will bounce around and get damage or come off loose.
