Universal Megan N1 muffler

I got a 2002 honda civic lx with straight pipe and saw some Universal Megan racing N1 mufflers for sale for $98. Before I buy this I wanted to know if the Megan n1 muffler would still have a nice deep tone even though my honda has straight pipe or would I have to buy a resonator as well?

Come on members, I really dont know if I should get a resonator with a megan n1 universal muffler can you guys help me out please.

I decided not to get the megan universal muffler, but It's still straight pipe and I have a magnaflow muffler. I want to quiet it down a bit and want to get rid of the raspy noise it make when I rev it, so I want to get a vibrant resonator, but I really dont know what size to get it, should I get a 12" or 18" resonator. Mostly I just want to get rid of the raspy noise it make when I rev it. So please help me out with this.
