I recently bought a 2000 Accord and it has an alarm system. I bought it from the second owner who, get this, didn't even know it had an alarm. There's a light on the dash and a horn under the hood but no key fob. I haven't had a lot of time to look for info on who could be the manufacturer. I'm just wondering where I should start and is it even possible to get a replacement key fob.
Thanks

Go to an independant audio shop and ask them if they know what type of alarm it is :what:

i suggest checking the sensor that's attached to the steering column. usually that piece has some sort of name or number on it for the model of the alarm. if not. check the horn if there is one.

is there at least an alarm brain hidden under the dash somewhere? there has to be something, unless it was removed n no one took the time to remove the rest of the components
