well so far ive put on a lip, grill, lowering springs, and some 7th gen civic wheels. looks way better than it did stock. whats everyone think?
yea thats the plan i have. but moneys always the issue. it took me 4 months to save up for what i have on it now cause im only 16 making $7.30 an hour...and i have car insurance/gas to worry about so i just have to save slowly but surely. the orange is like a scarf in a way. it says holland across it and has the national dutch symbol, as does the thing hanging from my mirror. they're there because im dutch. i got them both in amsterdam..i guess you could say im very proud to be dutch lolGet some black back headlights, some HIDs and possibly some fogs(:
And may I ask whats the orange stuff at the bottom of your windshield?

well damn your doin a lot better than me lol. im was makin 7.25 and my 6month raise was 5cents. wtf? thats one thing i hate. people will get on here and suggest these $1000 parts like its pocket change for everyone. it takes me 2-3months to make $1000 and i also have $188 car insurance to pay.I hear you man,
its tuff puttin extras on you car when your young
im 17 making 8/hr and ive beening wanting to get coilovers for my car and rims
for a while, it just a b***h saving when your paying for car nsurance, gas etc. . .
but i like the progres, what did u use to lower your car?
thanks bro. its more low than it is in the picture cause it was right after i put the springs on.nice man, you got a real clean coupe there. i dont think you really need to do too much to it. looks to me if you lower it a bit you'll be pretty much set, with a couple more minor mods here and there. anyways looks real good
Hey no rush kiddo(: Just throwing suggestions out there for you to play with hahayea thats the plan i have. but moneys always the issue. it took me 4 months to save up for what i have on it now cause im only 16 making $7.30 an hour...and i have car insurance/gas to worry about so i just have to save slowly but surely. the orange is like a scarf in a way. it says holland across it and has the national dutch symbol, as does the thing hanging from my mirror. they're there because im dutch. i got them both in amsterdam..i guess you could say im very proud to be dutch lol
your opinion. i like it. its something different rather than every other civic in my area that just does an si front end conversion and buys si wheels. and plus, for an si conversion you need new fenders, headlights, and all that. i think buying a lip and throwing it on in 30minutes was alot cheaper, easier, and makes mine stick out more cause its not as common, as you said.i've never liked a "99-00 mugen" lip on a 96-98.. but at least it's not something you see everyday
yea thats pretty clean. but at the time when i got my lip i had low knowledge of the different kinds and such...but im happy with what i ended up getting. i kinda jusr ordered the first one i found, and that one came with my grill for a pretty cheap price.this is the lip i like on the 96-98. genuine ctr lip
but glad you're trying to keep yours different. agreed that doing a facelift conversion is overrated. imo, if you have a pre-facelift civic you should keep it that way. they can be just as sexy as the facelift version
