Upgrading Interior - any thoughts welcome

Ok so over the last few weeks I've been thinking about upgrading my interior a little. I'm not gonna do everything all at once cuz well, I dont have the money to spend all at once and either the time really. I've looked on honda techs site, specifically the "post your interior thread", to get a few ideas and kinda have a few options. Let me know what you guys think.

Here is a pic of a 96-00 interior that I found that I kinda like. Notice the seats which I like since they aren't to "in your face" red like the normal recaros, also w/ the red stitching which I like. Anyone know what car these seats came in stock? Or are they aftermarket etc...?

Also, the guy did black on the door inserts which on the stock door panel look kinda outta place to me. I've seen this though and am still kinda unsure if I like it. I also would think of going w/ this since I'm gonna prolly pic up a black armrest w/ the red stitching similar to this.

Lastly, I'm also considering getting black replacement carpeting if available or just dying what I have now and getting new mats. To go w/ this and the armrest I'm thinking that I might also paint the lower part of the door panels black and the lower part of the dash where it seperates. Can anyone photoshop a pic of what it might look like w/ the lower part of the dash black and the upper the stock gray that comes w/ a black 99 civic. Sorry, alot to ask I know.

actually I think I like the usdm integra type r seats more than the recaros. This is mainly cuz itd just be an arm to get em and not a arm and a leg.

you can buy replicas of the recaros for like $300

a cheaper alternative to those seats would be RSX cloth seats, they look almost identical.

Good point, kinda sucks that I dunno that many people in my area with different setups for seats etc... The main overall thing like I said before is to upgrade the interior but still make it look kinda stock or that it could come that way. Having stuff sticking out like a sore thumb just grabs the attention I dont want.

I'm thinking the first thing I'd do is the door panel inserts. Anyone have suggestions on exact colors on that? I've seen some w/ red and I kinda like it but its kinda going away from the subtle look I'd like. Black seems like a better option but as you can see in the pictures, even w/ the seats, it still to me looks a little outta place. I'm thinking maybe black oem or replacement floor mats might kinda help if I upgraded to black.
