USDM vs. JDM

What is the basic difference between USDM and JDM. Is it just power or what? I want a JDM motor but I dont know if I should be looking at the USDM ones or not. Please Help.

the most basic difference is that JDM is more expensive...if i were you, i would just buy a usdm GSR motor, or a usdm ITR motor (thats the swap i have, mucho fasto)

dont waste your money on JDM stuff, its all overrated, and most people that claim to be jdm, arent even close...except for this one guy on here, i forget his name, RiceBoy or something...he has about as close to a car being truly JDM as you can get

well I just purchased a 93 prelude, I was wondering if I should go with the USDM or JDM H22? I already bought a B18C1 for the civ.

jdm motors have higher compression due to better internal parts. if you live in a state like cali or any state with strict smog rules, dont waste your time buying a jdm engine, it is a really big hassle.

jdm stuff is not overate, look at the parts, they are way better quility, better parts, they are just better. the only person on this board that i would consider to be a true jdm fan is _jawn.
