i think its scamming ebay.

on ebay, i thought that they have to pay a "tax" on the item but not the shipping, thus they're saving money.

maybe im wrong.

They always use other peoples cars. It's actually a smart idea. Look for really clean and nice looking cars to use to advertise your products so it makes people think "wow...maybe this will make my car look just as good as that one, sure why not" and buy it.

I've seen a few other cars that I've recognized across various boards as well. I know there was one auction with Jezek's hatch. I just saw an auction a few days ago too with someone elses car.

He's been using erans photo's for a while now...Eran has even emailed the guy to take it down but the seller hasn't

$62 for the lip isn't bad. Usually they're a good $70-$80.

Yeah, it's a great idea. If you got permission to use the photo that you didn't take on a camera that isn't yours of a car that isn't yours.

my friend sells on ebay and he told me the reason for doing the whole .99 cent auction and then huge shipping thing. the only reason they do that is because you have to pay ebay a certain percentage of what you sold so, say you sold 99 cents but really you sold it for 70 with shipping. you would save lots of money and only have to give ebay a little bit.

Shipping has gotten out of hand on eBay.

Hey yeah sure! It's no reserve! but no way in hell does it cost to $62 to ship. Not even via overnight air.

Virtually all the shipping is jacked WAY up. Sometimes more than the actual item is worth. It's hardly worth shopping on eBay anymore.

And I think it's kinda' a compliment to Amy's detailing skills that they used Mr. Amy's car.
