I was thinking the same thing, they prolly wanted to take advantage of the free advertisment, I understand hasport being that that is what they do, but come on its about the new Si and the new si's features not hondas other s**t. O wellkrayziejcs said:i normally watch that show on a weekly basis but I had to fire up the dvd recorder and recorded that one
the reason why I think they swapped the engine is because the rsx engine(01-03) has more aftermarket support than the one on the SI, so they were able to find more parts for what they wanted to do
yea she's pretty hot (and she can drive) my buddy used to race karts w/ here in kankakee ill. downloading nowskinnyjdawg said:I watched this on Sunday. Danica PAtrick rocks my world
The hosts on speed don't know s**t most of the time. They just read what the cue card tells them to. I remember this one dumb chick at sema say, "Look at how huge the tires on this truck are and they are even equipped with bed lock tires."bizoneoeh said:
What the f**k does he mean, "Once upon a time the civic was the car on the tuner scene. It was fast, nimble, affordable and most importantly, supremely customizable" IT STILL IS MOTHERFUCKER. This balding white motherfucker needs to get shot. Man, if I seen this foO in public I would piece his ass up and ass rape him. f**k that piece of s**t! "It was fast" this b***h needs to die f**k THE VID, I'm not even gonna watch the rest.
yeah i'm with you on that one. i can understand a 2.4ltr swap but swapping pratically the same motor was just fuqin' ghey. all-in-all it was a good show...and it makes me wanna dump my EM2 for a new Si. Too bad I'm upside down, maybe I'll wait a year or so.King Bob said:yeah it was decent, I am kinda pissed that the 2 cars they showed the most of had eingine swaps. WTF its about the new Si. One of the swaps was completly pointless a rsx eingine in a new si for a whapping 3 hp gain..........
He is right in 2001 honda went a different way with the civic. They dumped the wishbone suspension in favor of a McPhearson system to give the driver and passenger more leg room. They abandoned traditional vtec in favor of vtec-e tuning for economy rather than performance. The 7th gen is very fun to drive, but Honda was trying to attract many different types of buyers, not just the young tuner segment. However in doing this they almost abandoned the tuner segment entirely. They gave us the EP3....big whoop. The EP3 was just a parody of the 4th gen hatches that brought the Si badge to glory. Sure it was a Hatch, a big heavy one that only rev's to 6800 rpm....WTF a DOHC that only revs to 6800, what the hell is that. A lot of EP3 owners head swap to get the rpm's they want. So yeah other companies crept in on the Civic's turf, mainily in my opinion Scion.bizoneoeh said:
