vinyl painting

i jus took out my ek door panels and i cleaned them up and taped off so only the vinyl top was showing.
then i sprayed down the vinyl with some spray adheasion.
then i sprayed around 5 coats of vinyl/fabric paint and let it dry.
now the paint is kinda bumpy, not runs or anything but like rough, i dont know if i should sand it, and if i should with what grit.

also with painting vinyl should i put on a clearcoat, if so what kind of clear should i get.

what kind of spray adhesion did you use? was it specifically for vinyl and fabric? i know when i have used duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint before i never used spray adhesion and it stuck fine and hasnt worn or anything yet on any vehicles ive used it on

i used an all around adheasion and the paint wasent sticking for me without it, it could of been the weather conditons i was painting at 40 degrees F then moved inside and it starter sticking but idk casue i put the adheasive on outside so idk if it was because weather or no adheasive before but now its a lil bumpy

not knowing what kind of spray adheasion you used i'd say it was too cold...
