Viper Alarm????

I have a good deal on a viper 550 ESP alarm... the guy is charging me $150....it comes with


1) Viper 550 ESP alarm (with remote start, glass sensors, shock sensors)

2) Proximity Beta rays sensor (when someone walks close to the car.. the alarm will chirp)

3) Back up battery (If someone disconnects your battery, the alarm will continue to go-off. This back up battery will supply the alarm with power)

4) A more powerful antenna made by Viper (i upgraded the antenna so I can get better reception, paid $20.00 for this)

5) Boxes, warranty paper, instructions, remote, etc.


Is this a good deal???? what other good alarms can I buy for this price??

its a good alarm i use my remote start every single day. never had single problem with the alarm. i had mines for 3 years and im still running on the same battery in the remote. but a alarm is as good as its install. dont install it in the usual place that it is installed. theres like 4 location on the front dash that u can mount the brain. im selling mines because i bought the viper 791xv pager alarm, its been like 2 weeks since i had it. most likely i m going to install it this weekend.

I thought Viper alarms had no warranty if it was not installed by an authorized dealer...?

Make sure you get the Master Sheet for your specific car. It makes installation ALOT easier.

BTW, I got my Viper 300ESP for $110 delivered to my door from one of my friend's connections he used to work with. Brand new. Included the Master Sheet. Also included a medley of connectors, wires, etc.
