well my remote broke off my keychain, and i was wondering if i could get a new remote and how to program it, i read the instruction manual, and it didnt say anything about it.

what viper do you have, you have to get the same type of remote. Different one/years use different frequency's and they are not all compattable. Most of them go off the blinking light to tell the differece, some are green, some are red, etc. The user manual won't tell you how to program it but the installation guide will and I used to download them off of the DEI site but haven't checked in a couple of years.
i have the VIPER 800 kinda old , what should i do?
I have a viper800 and I have installed alot of them. Do you have any remotes at all. You should be able to take one of your existing remotes down to a streo shop that is a viper dealer and get a replacement no problem. Then you can find installation instructions and reprogram the remote.
